In short: Data Cleaner for Notion runs entirely in your browser. We operate no server, collect no data, and use no analytics or advertising.
Data Cleaner for Notion connects to your Notion workspace with the integration token that you provide. It reads the rows of the database you select, computes the cleaning and duplicate detection locally in your browser, and sends the resulting changes (updates and archiving) back to Notion.
Using the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), the extension stores:
This data stays on your device. It is not synced and not sent to us. You can erase it at any time with the "Log out" button, or by uninstalling the extension.
The extension communicates only with the official Notion API (api.notion.com), to list your databases, read their rows and apply the changes you approved. It does not contact any other server. We never receive your token or the content of your databases.
The optional backup file is generated in your browser and downloaded to your computer. It is never uploaded anywhere. It may contain data from your Notion rows, so store it as you would store the data itself.
We do not collect personal data, do not use cookies, analytics or trackers, do not sell or share data, and do not use data for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than the extension's single purpose.
